Elementary OS looks like MAC Linux operating system, the latest version based on the new version of ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
You can also install Elementary desktop experience on Ubuntu, daily updated version PPA (applicable to the Ubuntu 11.04/11.10/12.04/12.10):
sudo add-apt-repository ppa: elementary-os/daily
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install elementary-desktop
You can install the stable version, the PPA applies to ubuntu 11.10/12.04:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa: elementary-os/stable
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install elementary-desktop
